Dateliners News is an online news website based in Mindanao. It delivers photographic-text-based content about events and public information through the internet and social media. It is focused on Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao in the Philippines. It started from conceptual group of Cotabato-based journalists in Central Mindanao in 2009.
It is one of the first think tank journalism in Mindanao. Its website was first operated in 2012 to 2015 by Ali G. Macabalang and Moh Saaduddin then re-launched on November 2, 2018.
Dateliners News developed from the 2009 bonding group of Cotabato-based journalists ideally conceived as “Dateliners,” which remained as a plan until Moh I. Saaduddin, son-in-law of Ali Macabalang, correpondent of the Manila Times, moved to put it into reality. Moh died in road accident to Kidapawan City after he covered Maguindanao-sponsored event in Cotabato City.
Deh and Jii Saaduddin, pursued this work together and launched for news readers that are maybe interested to be updated about daily news published herewith.
